I started my new job @ the Dept. of Public Health in the Budget section yesterday, Finishing up the paper work, and figuring out my options for transportation (RT, light rail, bike) I think I am going to try to bike right now unless it rains. It only takes me 6-7 min w/ good traffic.
I’ve been doing a lot of reading on my own through health care programs and trying to familiarize myself with all the relative websites, acronyms, and terminology they use. I got my official state employee badge and found out that I will be working closely w/ Drinking Water and Environmental Mgmt making sure that ppl are get clean drinking water and are allocated the appropriate funds.
