Julia, myself, and Mark & Tracey decided to try a Indian restaurant in West Sac that got fair reviews on Yelp and was featured in the Entertainment book. Its close to the freeway and kind of tucked behind in a small strip mall on Merkley Ave.

As you walk in you enter through a (naan) descript front patio that is pretty large if you ever want to through a party. It has traditional Indian decor and colors as well as ornate furniture such as little bells on the chair backs.

We arrived around 7:30 pm and didn't get out till 9:30 its definitely a place that requires great patience, but its well worth it. The service was not to my standard, It took at least 30 before we got out food and they didn't even serve our naan until the actual food arrived.

We ordered two combination dinners and 2 entrees w/ a side of garlic Kabuli naan, yum-o!

The combination dinners came with a bowl of rice, a dill dipping sauce, 2 slices of plain naan, a mixed bean curry, and a dessert yogurt in the center. All this for $12.99.

Lamb Curry and Aloo Ghobi (Fresh Sauted cauliflower & Potatoes)

Our 2 entree were a Tandoori Chicken and Chana Masala(Garbanza beans cooked in a flavored curry sauce) Price: $7.99

All the dish's were exceptional, The dish that stood out to me the most was the Chana Masala It has just the right amount of spice and seasoning. I think we all agreed that we could have kicked it up a notch in terms of spiciness, All our dish's were Medium heat.

They serve a buffet on Monday's and Saturdays that I would like to try and I've heard there mango ice cream is pretty good.

Food was satisfing,

Would I go back again - Yes definitely
