For those in the Sacramento area, I will be attempting my First marathon (26.2 miles) on Sunday Dec. 5th. I have been training for about 3 months now and I am pretty confident that I will finish. I plan on running a 9 minute per mile pace so I am hoping to coming in under 4 hours is my goal.
Out of the 7,500 participants, around 5,500 finished.
There are 8,000 participants signed up, thats 500 more than last year.
The route starts in Folsom at 7 am and finishes at the Capitol, downtown. For those in the area it would be great to see you at the finish line. I should be arriving around 11 am.
