Last night I took my bike out for a scenic ride on the American river bike trail in at least 100 degree heat and yes I made sure I put on plenty of sun block and drink lots of fluid. I headed out about 6 pm for the CAT meeting at 7:30, I road by Sac state, Discovery park, Old sacramento, and along the river for a total of 21 miles. Destination CGBC (Chinese Grace Bible Church) and it took me a little over an hr. It would have taken me less, but I had to make a de tour down riverside because there was construction on the bike trail off of broadway.
The meeting was fruitful, we talked about what we liked and disliked from the past couple of months and we all agreed that we needed to make fellowship or at least meeting together brothers and sisters in Christ together a priority. The open Thursday nights just didn't work out and of course anybody can find something else todo (I could work out more: ) . I value coming together for worship, 2 read the word, 2 encourage, and pray for each other is very important. I'm very excited 2B a part of this CATalyst which is focused and energized to grow and produce lots of fruit, yumm : p
We ended the night @ Hoa Viet w/ a nice meal & fellowship : )
