Going in circles

When we train, whatever the sport, we typically start and end at the same location - effectively going nowhere, geographically. However something has changed, and we are physiologically different creatures after we direct our heart muscles to pump faster for a while.

So here's the paradigm shift: We may not be in a different place, but we are most certainly different when we arrive at the finish line. Remember this and know that the time you spend swimming, biking, and running is always time well spent and creates balance in your life.
