Devo Fuel: {Answered Prayers}

"Let us . . . come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy." (Hebrews 4:16)

God always answers the prayers of His children - but His answer isn't always "Yes" Sometimes His answer is "No" or "Wait" - and they are answers just as much as "Yes".

Think of Paul, pleading w/ God to remove his "thorn in the flesh" Ouch!, just the thought of that sounds painful or even Jesus on the cross. But God's answer was "No". God had something better - a path leading him into deeper dependence on God and His grace.

God knows far better than we do what is best for us and somtimes we must be still before God to hear what he has to say. Thank God even when He says "No" or "Wait" His answer is always perfect.
