Iron man" was Awesome! I definitely was excited to see this movie and I was not disappointed.Robert Downey Jr. did a wonderful job playing half drunk playboy genius millionaire Anthony Stark. Despite his older age, drunkenness, and eccentric lifestyle in real life he is a perfect actor for this part. Along w/ three other academy award winning/nominee's Jeff Bridges, Terry Howard, and the ever so lovely Gweneth Paltrow they had great chemistry on screen.
Sutle hints of future movie thread lines include "Ten rings" which is the name of the middle eastern terrorist faction which refers to the Mandarin's (Iron Man's arch enemy) 10 alien rings.
- S.H.E.I.L.D - agents pepper miss pots.
- Jim Rhodes quote "Next time, baby" aka "War Machine" will definitely be featured in the next movies.
- After the end of the credits you will see a small clip of Samuel L. Jackson(Nick Fury) noting that "Mr. Stark your not the only superhero in town"
LOS ANGELES—With "Iron Man" smashing its way to $201 million in worldwide box office sales, Marvel Entertainment Inc. raised its profit forecast Monday for the year and promised to release "Iron Man 2" in 2010.
The film was the first that Marvel financed itself and culminated a five-year plan to break from its strategy of licensing its top comic book heroes to other studios.
"This is clearly a trans formative time for Marvel," Marvel Studios chairman David Maisel told analysts on a conference call. "It was important for us to get much more control of our destiny and the ability to green-light and make these movies on a predictable basis."

I would definitely recommend this film for anyone who enjoys comic books or has an obsessed geeky fan boy boyfriend(me). I rank this one up next to "Batman Begins". I will surely pick this one up once it hits Blue-ray.
I would love to hear your take on the movie, please comment. = )
