Congratulations Jerry & Lorraine, May 5th
As the "Best Man" I first want to start off by thanking everyone for making this day special, especially to the parents and the family that help put this day together.
You are probably wondering why I’m holding this birght orange sweat shirt, This sweat shirt was given to me by Jerry on one of our first downtown running excursions. It means a lot to me because it reminds me of the warm meaningful conversations and bright constructive criticism that have always been Jerry’s
strengths.
It has kept me warm to almost every Shared the Rock ministry and can also be used as signal flag if ever I get lost or stranded. It also reminds me of Jerry’s comforting hospitality and his ability in building relationships with the people he meets.

Jerry, you are one of my best friends. You have always been welcoming and an encouraging in my spiritual walk for as long as I have know you and I will cherish those moments for the many years to come.
I want to leave the both of you with some words of wisdom:
(4 Jerry) – Whenever you feel like you are in a tight spot and want to argue your point to the point where the other person wants to strangle you. Always be ready to say “I’m sorry, no matter if you are right or wrong”

(4 Lorraine) – If you ever what Jerry to stop and listen. Always begin with the phrase “You know Jerry …” and hopefully you will get a word in edge wise.
Jerry, You have always been ready to settle down and eager to find that special someone. Today, I had the honor to stand beside you on this special day, as you have so often stood by me in good times and bad. I wish you, Jerry and your lovely new bride Lorraine nothing but peace, joy, and to bear much fruit.
